RS&H Inc. is providing a Consultant Project Engineer for the I-25 Express Lanes Segments 5 & 6. This CMGC project will add increased capacity by widening I-25 in both directions with the addition of express lanes and replacing several aging bridges.
Central 70 is one of the most impactful projects of our generation, projected to result in $18 billion of new economic activity in Colorado by 2040. Consisting of reconstructing 10 miles of I-70, this $1.2 billion project was initiated to address local and regional congestion and to revitalize the local economy.
CDOT Region 1 contracted RS&H to provide Procurement and Construction Management services for this $276 million design-build project. The project widens and reconstructs the highway and adds tolled express lanes to increase mobility and user choice along 12.5 miles of C-470 from I-25 to Wadsworth Boulevard.
RS&H started conducting bridge inspections in Texas with a team of three, inspecting approximately 30 structures per month. We have since grown into a team of 20, managing 150-200 structural inspections annually nationwide.
This project involves 4.4-mile widening and reconstruction of the existing highway into a six- to 12-lane highway and adding a new 2.4-mile, four-lane express bridge crossing over Clear Creek Channel at Galveston Bay.
