[Jacksonville, Fla.] Employee-owned architecture, engineering and consulting firm, RS&H, received the 2025 Occupational Excellence Achievement Award from the National Safety Council. The recognition highlights the daily efforts of RS&H associates to protect one another while delivering complex projects.
The National Safety Council grants this award exclusively to organizations that meet rigorous, OSHA-based criteria. To qualify, a company must experience zero employee fatalities and maintain a lost workday case incident rate at or below 50 percent of the Bureau of Labor Statistics average for its industry classification. Earning this distinction requires more than just a stated goal. It demands the persistent, hard-working effort of an entire organization to translate specialized safety knowledge into practical, everyday actions.
“This recognition reflects a culture built on accountability, communication, and care—and it belongs to every associate who contributes to keeping our workplace safe,” said Josh Chaffin, CSP, Health and Safety Director at RS&H. “We are grateful for the attention, ownership, and professionalism our associates bring to their work every day, and we remain committed to the programs and practices that help ensure everyone goes home safe each day.”
RS&H remains fully committed to the ongoing programs, collaborative culture, and strong accountability that earned this distinction, ensuring that safety guides every decision and every project as they build for the future.
