[HOUSTON, TX] RS&H, an ENR Top 100 national architecture, engineering and consulting firm, announced the acquisition of OMEGA Engineers, Inc., a respected Texas-based transportation and water resources engineering firm. The combination strengthens RS&H’s presence across Texas and expands the resources available to clients throughout the state.

The combination of the two firms expands RS&H’s Texas footprint and deepens its expertise in highway and bridge design, drainage, construction management, and water resources. Together, the firms bring complementary strengths that enhance service capabilities and position RS&H to deliver even greater value to transportation and infrastructure clients across the state.

“OMEGA’s expertise in highways, bridges, and water resources directly aligns with where we are growing in Texas,” said Lisa Robert, PE, CEO of RS&H. “Our firms bring complementary strengths and a shared commitment to valuing our employees and serving clients and communities. Together, we can offer clients greater capacity, expanded expertise, and stronger support for the infrastructure priorities shaping the state.”

The move reflects RS&H’s broader strategy to invest in Texas as a core growth market. OMEGA’s relationships and technical depth pair with RS&H’s national scale, giving clients access to a larger bench of expertise across its transportation, aviation, aerospace, federal, corporate, and health and science sectors. OMEGA will continue serving clients with the same teams and the same commitment they have come to rely on.

As a 100% employee-owned firm, RS&H offers OMEGA associates a meaningful stake in the work they help build, along with broader career pathways and professional development opportunities. The employee-owned culture, guided by the firm’s purpose of ‘Creating Tomorrow, Together,’ was central to the decision to combine.

“Choosing RS&H came down to its people, ownership model and shared commitment to being a trusted partner to our clients,” said Santiago Castañeda, PE, CEO of OMEGA Engineers, Inc. “As a 100% employee-owned firm, RS&H gives our employees a real stake in the work they do and the future they are building, while allowing us to preserve the culture, relationships and client-focused approach that have made OMEGA successful. Our clients will continue working with the teams they know and trust, with the same dedication and exceptional service, while gaining access to RS&H’s expanded capabilities, resources and full-service portfolio. This is an opportunity to build on everything we have accomplished, bringing OMEGA’s strengths to RS&H and creating new possibilities for our people, clients and communities. Together, OMEGA and RS&H can deliver transformative projects across Texas while building on our shared reputations as trusted partners.”
