[Denver, CO]— RS&H announced the promotion of Ray Strandberg, PE, to the position of Colorado State Leader in the employee-owned engineering, architecture, and consulting firm’s Construction Management business unit.

With over 34 years of experience, Strandberg has been a driving force within the Central Colorado leadership team. Before joining RS&H in 2013, he worked at the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and held a leadership role at a structural engineering firm’s field services department. At RS&H, he has played a pivotal role in building teams and fostering a culture that defines the region. His dedication led to his promotion to Associate Vice President in 2023, following his appointment as Central Colorado Area Leader in 2020.

“Ray’s wealth of experience, relationships with our clients, willingness to teach, and total trust in the Colorado team makes him the right choice for this role,” said Senior Vice President and West/Central Regional Leader for Construction Management Steven Byars

During his tenure with RS&H, Strandberg has served as consultant project engineer and consultant assistant project engineer, acting as the on-site engineer-in-responsible-charge for multiple CDOT projects. Under his leadership, the Construction Management business unit will maintain the firm’s efforts to drive innovation in project delivery and strengthen client relationships in Colorado to ensure that RS&H continues to provide best-in-class client service.

“I’m honored to receive this promotion and grateful for the opportunity to continue serving with such a dedicated team and provide our clients with first-class service that makes a real difference in our communities,” said Strandberg.

Strandberg graduated from Colorado State University–Pueblo with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Colorado.
