RS&H has been recognized by the Charlotte Business Journal as one of the best places to work in the region. The RS&H Charlotte, North Carolina office finds itself on the list of best midsize companies to work for as it continues to expand in both capabilities and opportunities.

“The Charlotte office is grateful to be recognized as a place we strive to be every day – a fun and inclusive environment where everyone is afforded the opportunity to grow their chosen career paths,” said RS&H Charlotte Office Leader Chad Critcher.

Each year, the Charlotte Business Journal partners with Quantum Workplace to find the businesses in the Queen City that exemplify traits of the best places to work. Through surveys that gauge employee attitudes, the Business Journal is able to determine the companies that their employees most enjoy working for.

“Being a Best Place to Work honoree means more than having flexible work hours or an on-site gym,” according to the award criteria. “It means having workers who feel their work is aligned with the company’s mission, that they feel supported, that they know their work matters.”

Since opening in 2000, the RS&H Charlotte office has steadily grown as associates in RS&H’s transportationaviation, and corporatehealth and science markets all joined the team. Today, the office is home to 39 associates with a wealth of different focuses and service areas.

Associates have helped plan and design some of the largest infrastructure and building projects in the region, including the Interstate 485 Express LanesWells Fargo’s Brigham Building and Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Associates have given back to the community through volunteer efforts and Elevate Fund grants, and several associates are active in RS&H’s Ignite Women’s Leadership Network.

“Our combined talents deliver architectural, engineering, and planning services to the Charlotte community and beyond,” Critcher said. “RS&H actively supports the communities we serve, and we have served Charlotte now for over 20 years.”
