NCTA Toll Operations On-Call

RS&H is providing on-call services for toll operations on the Triangle Expressway, Monroe Expressway, I-77 Express Lanes, and future tolled and managed lanes projects. This contract involves back office improvements related to the NCTA toll and express lanes network, including implementation requirements and scheduling milestones. RS&H brings unique expertise due to our national experience overseeing toll system vendor contracts for public agencies and our understanding of the technical aspects related to toll technology and performance-based operations. RS&H is supporting NCTA in the operational oversight of the I-77 Express Lanes toll concession.

RS&H is also serving as NCTA’s representative to confirm contract requirements and specifications are being upheld and that all measured performance indicators are being met. At the direction of the NCDOT Secretary, RS&H was tasked with reviewing a series of other improvement options/contract amendments, preparing design and cost estimates, reviewing potential additional approvals and associated schedule impacts, and presenting a summary of this information to stakeholders. We are also helping NCTA coordinate contracts with various NCDOT/ NCTA units and the Concessionaire.

RS&H also provides BOS procurement and ongoing contract oversight, including requirements development, RFP preparation, procurement oversight, contract negotiations, and subsequent contractor management; and coordination and support of testing and integration of new roadway facilities into the back office.
