This project consists of the design and construction of a new Fourth Parallel Runway (New Runway 1x-19x) and two End-Around Taxiways (EATS).
RS&H provides on-call planning and consulting services to assist the airport management at King County International Airport-Boeing Field.
Through a collaborative effort, this space was designed with care and thoughtful attention to tell the story of strength, hope, and love. The bell wall was one such element used to infuse hope into the space. The bell wall represents a significant moment in a patient’s journey through cancer treatment.
RS&H worked with Orlando Health to create a design for a ground-up Outpatient Surgery Center (OSC) in Clermont, Florida. The single-story, 28,000-square-foot building is located immediately behind the hospital and is the first OSC project in the state of Florida reviewed by AHCA.
RS&H was tasked by environmental agencies to design the ends of the bridge to minimize impacts to coastal wetlands in order for the project to be permitted. We had the challenge of designing bridge bent locations to avoid a submerged aquatic vegetation area under part of the bridge.
The Sawgrass Expressway opened in 1988 but fell three miles short of I-95, forcing vehicles destined for I-95 to utilize the local road networks, including SW 10th Street. Since the original studies, several unsuccessful attempts were made throughout the decades to make this three-mile connection.
The airport tasked the RS&H-led design team to develop a plan that provided flexibility for simultaneous deicing of five Group V (Airbus A350) or ten Group III (Boeing 737) aircraft, maximizing the airport’s operational capacity during winter months.
RS&H led design for the renovation of Concourse D and the existing U.S. Customs Federal Inspection Services (FIS) facility and public area finishes, allowing the Airport to improve operational efficiency and enhance the level of service for passengers.
When the Gallatin Airport Authority launched a multi-phased, multi-year terminal development program at BZN, their desire was to create an architecture that is reflective of the real Montana.
RS&H's team provides complete expertise for all aspects of San Antonio’s mobility goals, from urban planning and design to placemaking to preliminary engineering and final design. Our approach identified various unique approaches and enhancements to this study.
The newly renovated facility truly services warriors' needs, providing vaccinations for American soldiers and research capabilities to address any disease that may surface in the field.
RS&H is serving as engineer-of-record for three segments of the expressway representing over $459 million in total construction costs: SR 23/US 90 interchange (completed), Clay north, and Clay south.
