Architecture Projects

Designing a building to serve a diverse, multi-generational staff with varying needs and wants offered a few challenges. The RS&H team turned those challenges into opportunities to create a more connected space where everyone could thrive.

Corporate

RS&H led the design to deliver a unique building informed by the natural context, rich history, and culture of all the people who settled in the Lafayette area. Extensive research for the project included visiting museums and cultural centers and interviewing community leaders to inform the development of architectural design concepts.

Aviation

RS&H worked within a collaborative design-build team to design a 96,000-square-foot physical sciences energy research laboratory, that will share technologies and diverse research to collaborate on some of the most complex energy challenges facing the global human community.

Science

Through a collaborative effort, this space was designed with care and thoughtful attention to tell the story of strength, hope, and love. The bell wall was one such element used to infuse hope into the space. The bell wall represents a significant moment in a patient’s journey through cancer treatment.

Healthcare

After leading the concept design workshop and project development phase, RS&H, as part of a joint venture (JV), was selected to lead the P407 Littoral Innovation and Prototype Facility design at Naval Support Activity (NSA) Panama City, FL.

March 18, 2024By Don Waller, Brett Metcalf, Chung Rutter

While each project is unique, and many factors influence design, we’ve identified six factors to consider when adding or upgrading a facility. We’ll take a deeper look at each factor, including what it means to design, how to incorporate the idea, and examples from our previous projects.
