Tara Wineinger Joins RS&H as Chief People Officer

[Houston, FLA.] RS&H is pleased to announce that Tara Wineinger has joined the national, employee-owned architecture, engineering and consulting (AEC) firm as Executive Vice President, Chief People Officer (CPO). Wineinger will design and lead the strategy and processes related to building, engaging, and retaining our exceptional workforce, working as part of RS&H’s executive team to support the firm’s strategic vision and growth objectives.

“Tara brings a unique blend of experience to our leadership team, which will advance our firm’s integrated people strategies, building partnerships across all organizational levels, and leveraging transparent communication to drive consensus,” said RS&H CEO Dave Sweeney. “Her skillset will undoubtedly elevate our organization.”

As CPO, Wineinger will advise senior leaders on operations and people-related initiatives and topics, provide leadership and direction to all human resource functions, advance the firm’s total rewards strategy, and drive talent acquisition, development, and retention efforts to achieve sustained growth in alignment with business strategies. In addition, she will collaborate across the organization and help drive initiatives to advance further our culture and diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) and safety programs.

Wineinger brings over three decades of strategic executive leader experience spanning a broad range of roles, such as chief human resources officer, vice president of total rewards, senior director of compensation and benefits, director of US operations human resources business partner, and many more.

Wineinger holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Texas A&M University and a Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification. She became a certified Gestalt Coach (GCCP) from the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland and more recently completed a Leading with Finance program through Harvard Business School.

Wineinger resides in Houston, where she will continue her work as a governing body member of the Evanta Houston CHRO Organization and avid supporter of her local community TEAM organization.
