JACKSONVILLE, Fla., September 22, 2026—RS&H, an ENR Top 100 and 100% employee-owned architecture, engineering and consulting firm, today announced a series of governance enhancements and board transitions designed to strengthen its ownership model and accelerate progress toward its “Amplify 2030” strategic plan goal of doubling the firm’s impact by 2030.
The changes include the appointment of CEO Lisa Robert, PE, as board chair, the creation of a new lead external director position held by Dave Sweeney, PE, the election of new board member National Operations Leader, Construction Management, Kirk Fauri, PE, and the retirement of long-serving director David Gaboury, whose leadership helped shape the firm’s broad-based ownership culture.
“Employee ownership is more than a structure; it’s the reason our people are invested in every solution we deliver,” said Robert. “By strengthening internal representation on our board, we’re ensuring the future of RS&H is driven by the associates who build it, guided by expertise and perspective from our independent directors. This is how we amplify what’s possible for our clients, our communities, and each other.”
Robert will lead both the executive team and the board, uniting strategic vision with day-to-day operational leadership. In her combined role, she will guide the firm’s growth strategy across its transportation, aviation, federal defense, corporate, health and science, and aerospace markets.
In this role, Sweeney will provide an independent perspective, support board effectiveness, and serve as a key liaison between external directors and firm leadership. The position reinforces accountability while preserving the internal majority that keeps governance aligned with employee owners.
RS&H also announced the election of Kirk Fauri, PE, Executive Vice President and National Operations Lead for Construction Management, to its Board of Directors. Fauri brings extensive operational expertise and a track record of driving performance across complex, multidisciplinary teams. His operations background positions him to help the board translate the Amplify 2030 vision into disciplined execution, sharpening delivery, efficiency, and quality across every market the firm serves.
“Kirk understands what it takes to deliver excellence at scale,” said Robert. “His operational insight will help us connect strategy to results as we pursue our growth goals through 2030.”
The firm expressed deep appreciation for David Gaboury, a long-time board member and former chair who is retiring from the board after 12 years of dedicated service. Gaboury played a central role in shaping RS&H’s broad-based employee ownership model and guiding the firm through significant periods of growth and transformation.
“David’s fingerprints are on the culture we cherish today,” said Robert. “His commitment to employee ownership and his steady leadership helped set the foundation we’re building on today. We are grateful for his vision and wish him the very best in retirement.”
The governance enhancements reflect RS&H’s belief that strong, aligned leadership is essential to sustained growth. As the firm advances its Amplify 2030 plan, these changes position RS&H to grow with intention—deepening client relationships, investing in innovation, and expanding opportunity for its employee owners.
