Tampa, FL. – RS&H’s Landscape Designer, Megan Courter recently passed the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist Exam. This certification expands the scope of landscape architecture services at RS&H and demonstrates Courter’s strong commitment to professional excellence.

“At RS&H, the individuals in my studio were all very supportive, especially my supervisor, David Bryan, who believed in me more than I did at times,” said Courter. “I’m very thankful to have such a great support system backing me up.”

To become an ISA Certified Arborist, a professional must meet certain requirements to be eligible for the exam, which includes three or more years of full-time, eligible, practical work experience in arboriculture and/or a degree in the field of arboriculture, horticulture, landscape architecture, or forestry from a regionally accredited educational institute. This certification exam covers many topics, giving the candidates flexibility in the arboricultural profession.

“As I got deeper into my studies, I realized that becoming an arborist would help me achieve my longest-standing professional goal: making the world better for the next generations,” said Courter. “I’m excited to see what the future has in store for me as a newly certified arborist.”
