[Jacksonville, FLA] – RS&H announced that two associates, Phil Schwab, PE, and Lisa Dykstra, PE, have accepted promotions to serve in new areas of leadership within the firm. Schwab will serve as the East Region Program Management Discipline Leader, and Dykstra will serve as the Area Leader for South Florida.

RS&H’s leadership serves as a reflection of the company’s overall values and vision. As leaders, Dykstra and Schwab will each manage infrastructure operations across specific geographies, leading the firm in a direction that will effectively and efficiently meet the needs of clients and partners.

“Dykstra and Schwab both have strong backgrounds in their fields and consistently demonstrate success,” said Morgan County, Vice President. “Their new roles will expand their reach and influence, which will surely translate into shaping a more connected future for our communities.”

Schwab has been with RS&H for over 23 years and has over 33 years of industry experience. He has been instrumental in leading many noteworthy projects for RS&H, such as FDOT’s first public-private partnership project, I-595 Express Corridor Design Consultant, which was also the first availability payment financing structure project in the United States. He continues to have a passion for major projects and alternative delivery systems.

I am looking forward to creating a meaningful impact in my new role,” said Schwab. “RS&H’s client-focused mission has always resonated with me, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to show it.”

Dykstra joined RS&H six years ago but has worked in public/private transportation engineering for over 23 years. Her strong background in the realm of traffic engineering and project management, combined with her effective approach to consensus building with local agencies, elected officials, and the traveling public, prepared her well for the important responsibility of currently serving as RS&H’s Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four GEC Program Manager.

“I am truly honored and grateful to be asked to take on this new role,” said Dykstra. “Together, we’ll build a brighter future for our company and clients.”
