RS&H, one of the leading architecture, engineering and consulting firms in the nation, has hired Roddy Boggus as its Buildings Service Group Leader for the firm’s Aviation Practice.

“Throughout his career, Roddy has proven success in building long-term relationships with both airline and airport clients,” said Don Andrews, senior vice president and Aviation Practice director for RS&H. “His ability to approach projects from the perspective of both air carriers and airport operators serves him well in the planning, design, and construction of airport facilities.”

Roddy comes to RS&H from Suffolk Construction, where he was executive vice president of aviation. He has also served as an executive vice president for Gresham, Smith and Partners, and as a senior vice president at Parsons Brinckerhoff (WSP USA). He was earlier a managing principal for PGAL and co-owner of Hodges-Boggus Architects.

A 30-year aviation professional, Roddy is an architect with a Bachelors of Design from Texas Tech University. Roddy is the 2017 Board Chair of the Airport Consultants Council (ACC) and sits on the Board of Directors for the International Partnering Institute (IPI) as well as the International Association of Airport Executives (IAAE).

Boggus looks forward to focusing on aviation architecture in his new role.

“I’m excited to get back into the architectural side of airports,” he said. “I want our group to be known for innovative design coupled with cost effective functionality, and for being a collaborative partner with our industry, stakeholders, and clients.”
