Central 70 Reconstruction P3
RS&H was selected for the CDOT Central 70 project in 2017 to provide construction assessments and independent assurance testing services for the $1.2B P3 reconstruction, widening, and re-striping of approximately 10 miles of Interstate 70. This stretch of road is a vital link between the Denver International Airport and Downtown Denver, with approximately 200,000 vehicles per day. The project includes adding a new express lane in each direction, lowering a portion of the interstate, and placing a four-acre cover park over a portion of the lowered interstate. RS&H segment leaders and assessors are on-site to monitor, record, and audit elements of work in accordance with the Project Priority Matrix and the Project Agreement (PA), with increased scrutiny on higher risk elements. Throughout the duration of the Central 70 Reconstruction, the RS&H team will be responsible for certifying payments in accordance with the PA; issuing, tracking, and resolution of NCRs, including Concessionaire initiated NCRs; attending and documenting construction progress meetings, quality progress meetings, O&M meetings, and design meetings; monitoring construction progress in relation to the PA and schedule; and dispute resolution and claims mitigation.
