RS&H is serving as a subconsultant member of the program manager consultant team for MDOT’s Ancillary Structures Program. RS&H’s scope includes assisting with program development, program and project control procedures, training development, and field inspection. The work involves the inspection, documentation, and report completion for more than 4,000 culverts and 700 lighting poles throughout the state. The RS&H team is responsible for reviewing the elemental rating scheme, condition rating and inspection manual, and RFA guidance documents, lane closure requests, and QA reviews of inspection findings. RS&H is also performing non-destructive evaluation using ultrasonic testing (UT) of anchor bolts and QA reviews on Frangible and non-frangible light structures.
