Bryan Nicol, Esq

Bryan Nicol, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), leads the development of RS&H strategic initiatives, short-and long-term growth objectives, and new business and expansion opportunities. Bryan has 17 years of private-sector business operations, consulting, and advisory experience, spanning a broad range of senior leadership roles, including global and regional business leader, business developer, strategy advisor, technology director, marketing/sales leader, client account lead, business consultant, global industry advisor, and delivery executive.

Bryan served 18 years in public-sector leadership roles with the State of Indiana, including as commissioner and deputy commissioner of the Indiana Department of Transportation. He is a former president and vice president of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO). He is a current planning and design division board member of the American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA). He also serves as a member of the Orange County, Virginia Planning Commission and as an advisory board member for LOWLINC, a local non-profit supporting the elderly population in Virginia.
