[St. Louis, MO] RS&H recently welcomed Curt Smith to the employee-owned, national engineering, architecture, and consulting firm as an aviation civil technician. In his new role, Smith will design and model airside and landside aviation projects using cutting-edge technology, bringing plans to life for our clients.
“RS&H is committed to growing our local presence in St. Louis,” said RS&H’s Executive Vice President and National Operations Leader – Infrastructure Rodney Bishop. “Adding talented associates like Curt to our St. Louis team supports this commitment.”
Smith is no stranger to the aviation industry, with over 23 years of experience using AutoCAD and MicroStation modeling software to pilot innovative design solutions to various fields, including aviation, transportation, structural, and geotechnical. “We are fortunate to have Curt join our team in St Louis. He will be an integral part of our aviation practice in Missouri, bringing his expertise with 3D modeling,” says Chad Mathers, PE, Principal Airfield Engineer at RS&H.
”I’m excited to collaborate with some amazing colleagues and tackle challenging aviation projects with fresh, innovative ideas,” said Smith. He earned his Architectural Drafting and Computer Aided Design degree from Jefferson College.
