Former NAVFAC Southeast Executive Officer Captain Jeremy Adams Joins RS&H
[Jacksonville, FLA] – Employee-owned, national engineering, architecture and consulting firm RS&H recently announced the addition of Jeremy Adams, PE, PMP, LEED AP as a new Associate Vice President in its Federal Market. In this new role, Adams will develop and execute strategies for business growth by identifying prudent opportunities, securing partnerships, and leading business development efforts while fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
“Bringing Jeremy on board marks a significant step forward for RS&H,” said RS&H’s Senior Vice President and leader of the firm’s Federal Market, Richard Hammett, AIA, LEED AP. “His background in the federal sphere as a decorated Naval Officer will offer our clients insight, allowing him to provide strategic support that help our clients meet their mission.”
Adams brings over 24 years of leadership and engineering experience, including serving as an Executive Officer in the United States Navy. His background includes service with the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Special Operations Headquarters, and the White House Military Office. His broad international experience and leadership will play a critical role as RS&H continues to expand its Department of Defense portfolio.

A United States Naval Academy graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering, Adams was commissioned as an Ensign in May 2000 and will retire this year after reaching the rank of Captain. His academic achievements include a Master of Business Administration from Western Washington University, a Master of Engineering in Project Management from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the United States Naval War College.
Adams holds several prestigious qualifications from his time in the U.S. military, such as a Seabee Combat Warfare Officer, Professional Civil Engineer, LEED Accredited Professional, certified Project Management Professional, member of the Defense Acquisition Corps and a Joint Qualified Officer.
