Muhammad Musa Joins RS&H To Expand Traffic Engineering Services

[San Antonio, TX] RS&H has announced that Muhammad Musa, Ph.D., PE, PTOE, RSP1, has joined the national engineering, architecture, and consulting firm as a senior principal ITS and traffic engineer. In this role, he will focus on expanding the Traffic Engineering Consulting Service Group in Texas to provide Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) planning and design, traffic and safety analysis, signal design and timing, signing and pavement markings, and other components of traffic engineering services. 

For over 30 years, Musa has served as a project manager and ITS traffic and transportation engineer in projects across the U.S., including the past 10 years in Texas. His knowledge and extensive experience span many areas, including planning, analysis, and design within the realm of transportation and traffic engineering. 

“Muhammad will work with our expanding Texas transportation team to continue the growth of services provided to TxDOT, municipalities, and other clients across the state. We are fortunate to have his enthusiasm and passion for his work at RS&H,” shares Tom Kelly, Traffic Engineering Consulting Service Group Leader.  

As a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, he holds a Ph.D. and a master’s in civil engineering. He is also an active member of the American Society of Professional Engineers, Institute of Transportation Engineers, ITS Texas, and is currently serving on the Education Committee of the National Society of Professional Engineers Bexar Chapter. He is passionate about Vision Zero, the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, the advancement of STEM-related education, and serving the profession of Civil Engineering in promoting safe, efficient, and sustainable solutions for mankind.
