SPCC Plans
RS&H has developed and continues to maintain professional engineer-certified Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) plans for numerous Florida Gas Transmission (FGT) facilities in the Southeast. SPCC requirements apply to facilities that have an aboveground oil storage capacity greater than 1,320 gallons and could reasonably expect to discharge oil into navigable US waters or shorelines. By implementing the SPCC plans developed by RS&H, FGT is able to improve operation efficiencies, avoid oil spills, minimize potential public health and environmental impacts, and eliminate costs associated with possible large-scale oil remediation efforts.
