Mills Avenue Improvement Project

RS&H provided construction engineering and inspection (CEI) services for the Mills Avenue Improvement Project in Orlando, Florida. This project was a federally funded LAP roadway improvement project between Virginia Drive and Dorchester Street and also included the intersections at Marks Street and Lake Highland Drive.

The project included a new six-foot sidewalk placed on the west side of Mills Avenue from Rollins to Dorchester streets; a new 12-foot wide multi-use trail from Princeton to Dorchester streets; drainage modifications and improvements between Princeton and Virginia streets; new concrete dedicated parking spaces between Princeton and Rollins streets; construction of a new pedestrian bridge over Lake Estelle; Marks Street and Lake Highland Drive drainage and intersection improvements; replacement of damaged concrete slabs on Mills Avenue; and signal pole upgrades at Virginia, Nebraska and Princeton.
