I-70G Edwards Interchange
RS&H is providing construction services on the I-70G Edwards Interchange Upgrade Phase II project in Edwards, Colorado. The Edwards Interchange project includes reconstruction of the intersection of I-70G and US 6 and will convert it from a signalized intersection to a 2-lane roundabout. Widening of the spur road to 4 lanes will require the replacement of the bridge over the Eagle River with a new single span bridge. The existing roadway bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) line will also be widened to accommodate additional lanes. Pedestrian facilities will be added to the east side of the road to connect US 6 to Miller Ranch Road, and two new pre-fabricated pedestrian structures will be installed over the Eagle River and UPRR line. RS&H is also providing inspection services for the installation of a new water main, lighting, landscaping, drainage improvements, signing, and striping.
Services include:
- Inspection of bridge replacement
- Inspection of roadway and traffic elements
- Inspection of waterline and associated elements
- Inspection of two new pedestrian bridges
- Inspection of roundabout
- Inspection of drainage
