El Paso International Airport
MASTER PLAN
The Master Plan for El Paso International Airport is being updated to address some challenging issues while integrating immediate short-term beautification, regional transportation and land use plans with the long-term traditional planning practices. The recent opening of a new CONRAC has provided opportunity for redevelopment of rental car service centers. The promotion of Bus Rapid Transit has created a short-term need for bus station and routes currently not within the terminal roadway system and, the desire to create covered parking using solar panels while creating an appealing pedestrian flow are being integrated into the long-term plan.
