Mayo Clinic Cardiology Suite Expansion
The world-renowned Mayo Clinic’s cardiology department sought to expand their quantity of existing patient services due to increased growth. To add the needed capacity for more patient visits, they acquired several additional clinicians, requiring the expansion of the existing cardiac catheterization lab prep/hold spaces from 11 to 17 bays.
The project included a 2,096-square-foot addition to the existing post-anesthetic care unit (PACU). Additionally, it required relocation of several spaces to accommodate for added office space, an expansion of the echo/tread rooms, and creation of equipment storage space. The total square footage of the project was 8,457 square feet of scope.
