As featured in the FES Journal, RS&H helped the City of Orlando update floodplains within hundreds of acres across the city limits. The city staff prioritized the areas needing immediate attention that were frequently flooding.
Since the city began the updates in 2009, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has approved more than 10 Letters of Map Revisions that have successfully established and updated hundreds of floodplains.
