David Sweeney, PE

Dave joined RS&H in 1998 and has more than 30 years of experience with professional firms serving public and private sector clients. Prior to becoming RS&H’s Chief Executive Officer, he held progressively responsible leadership roles at RS&H, including National Bridge Service Group Leader, Transportation-Infrastructure Practice Director, and Chief Operating Officer, and Board Member. Through these roles, Dave has gained a holistic understanding of how best to support the company and its associates. Today, he ensures that RS&H’s vision and strategic direction are in alignment with the firm’s core values – integrity, quality service, business success and valuing associates. Dave received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1986, is a licensed professional engineer in six states, is a member of the Florida Council of 100, the Florida Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and the Construction Industry Roundtable Board of Directors.
