Williamson County Airport Authority
The Williamson County Regional Airport serves Marion, Carbondale, and other parts of south central Illinois. Scheduled commercial air service is provided by Cape Air to and from St. Louis under the DOT’s Essential Air Service program.
The airport receives FAA Entitlement funding of $1 million annually. RS&H works with the airport to identify the need for capital improvements, to prioritize the schedule of project development, and to help acquire funding. In this manner, the airport can balance its operating, funding, and capital improvement program, while continuing to serve its community.
