RS&H is serving as the prime consultant for the project development and environment (PD&E) study and 15 percent line and grade plans for West Shore Boulevard from West Kennedy Boulevard to West Boy Scout Boulevard.
The unique project is not intended to add roadway capacity, but instead improve pedestrian, bicycle, and multimodal accommodations. The goal is to transform West Shore Boulevard into a grand boulevard that is enticing to pedestrians with high level of aesthetics, landscaping, outdoor seating, shade, and amenities. Improvements may include relocating utilities underground and using environmentally friendly landscaping and irrigation systems.
RS&H has an in-depth knowledge of the federal NEPA process, as well as expertise in complete streets type projects. In addition, our team members have national experience in similar transformative projects.
