St. George Municipal Airport
St. George is the gateway to southwest Utah, Zion National Park, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. The terminal design is inspired by the sparse and rugged desert landscape. Native geological strata and red stone canyons serve as metaphors for the interior design of a grand hall that connects the entry lobby to the airside departure lounges. Articulated interior walls recall the natural eroded faces of the canyons. Spectacular views of the Pine Valley Mountains are carefully framed through the grand airside window wall.
