Spokane International Airport
RS&H was selected by the Spokane Airport Board to provide terminal area planning services to support a Terminal Renovation and Expansion Project at Spokane International Airport. The purpose of the project is to evaluate alternatives to remedy terminal inefficiencies and constraints that have become increasingly problematic as passenger activity grows. The project revises passenger activity forecasts, programs terminal facilities, assesses the condition and remaining life of building systems, prepares cost estimates, sequences development projects, and develops a capital implementation plan. It also develops and validates conceptual layouts and moves these concepts into ten percent conceptual design. This leverages a unique strength of RS&H staff, which is taking planning projects into design and construction. The project requires a holistic evaluation and integration of all major terminal components, including baggage claim, ticketing, circulation, security checkpoints, hold-rooms, aircraft gate layout, terminal access roads, parking structures, and rental car facilities.
