Project Description

New Port Richey Railroad Square Master Plan

New Port Richey leaders presented our team with a challenge: remake an underused service alley into the city’s premiere civic space. The result was Railroad Square. Through our collaboration with the city, a space that was once considered only the back door to Main Street businesses is now a beautiful streetscape that easily transforms into a pedestrian-only zone for community events.

To accomplish this success, we led workshops with the city staff, the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), and city residents to establish a vision for the project. Our team conducted a comprehensive analysis of technical factors including utilities, drainage, parking, and pedestrian and vehicular circulation.

Thanks to our thorough study, Railroad Square has become a vital part of this vibrant community.
