Jorge Chavez International Airport

Lima Airport Partners, SRL (LAP) a consortium led by the internationally recognized airport operator Fraport, AG., was awarded the concession contract to manage and develop the Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima, Peru. RS&H was retained by LAP to provide on-call architecture, engineering and planning services to aid in the airport improvements, such as extensive modernization of the domestic and international passenger terminal facilities. RS&H also served as the A/E with aviation expertise on the design-build team for the terminal’s 12- gate expansion. Specific services provided by RS&H include:

  • Document reviews of base contract documents
  • Terminal building functionality analysis and recommendation of alternatives
  • Design of the passenger terminal building expansion areas
  • Design drawings for the aircraft parking layout
  • Design drawings for new high-speed exit taxiway
  • Layout drawings for new hydrant fueling system
  • Final procurement documents for 12 new passenger loading bridges
  • Analysis of passenger flow functionality through the passenger terminal building and provide recommendation of alternatives
