RS&H has promoted Ken Ibold as its Aviation Practice’s Southeast Regional Planning Service Group Leader. Ken joined RS&H in 2009 and brings a total of 18 years of experience to the position. He is an established industry leader in airport safety management systems and commercial spaceport licensing, as well as a proven successful project manager and client partner.
Prior to joining RS&H, Ken served as an independent consultant, becoming a nationally recognized aviation safety researcher. He provided services for the FAA and National Transportation Safety Board and also served as an aviation safety subject matter expert for national media, including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Fox News, MSNBC, and other news outlets. He published a monthly newsletter on aviation safety for more than five years and has authored two books on aviation, Defying Gravity: A Look at Life from a Higher Plane and the Aviation Consumer’s Used Aircraft Guide, 9th Edition.
