VyStar Credit Union, a company that supports 21 Northeast Florida counties, is dedicated to enhancing their members’ experience, ensuring their time spent in one of their branches is productive and efficient. While the company strives to better meet the needs of their members, they also want to stay ahead of the curve with technological advances.
In their newest branch, located in Ormond Beach, the company integrated several forms of technology into their design, providing an open and refreshed look, as well as a modern, interactive environment.
Construction of the branch was completed on July 8th, opened to its members on August 15th, and held a ribbon cutting ceremony on September 14th.
RS&H designed a new, updated concept, moving away from the traditional branch prototype to create a more engaging, efficient environment.
The open and interactive environment allows the tellers to interact with the members on the floor rather than a typical teller line where the teller is confined behind the counter and unable to move around.
The 4,000-square-foot building features teller towers that allow associates more ability to multitask, new technology for members to check accounts online with tablets and computers, and a 24-hour ATM vestibule for self-service member convenience. Rather than filling out forms the old fashion way with pen and paper, the member can use the tablets, and it will automatically be entered in the VyStar system.
Digital signage has been strategically placed in the new branch to ensure members stay up to date with the latest news and information. An interactive kiosk allows members to review current rates and product information. A discovery center with tablets and internet kiosks will allow for more in-depth discovery and collaboration with branch staff as members explore all of the products and services offered by VyStar.
The design of the facility was nearly two years in the making, and the entire team is excited to see it come to fruition.
