Network Manager - Jacksonville, Florida
Living the American Dream
After spending three years in a refugee camp in Turkey after a war broke out in Bosnia, my family and I moved to the US in search of opportunity. I was 17 at the time and didn't speak any English, but I knew I wanted to attend college and follow a career path in information technology (IT). After graduating with an associate degree in IT Networking from Florida State College of Jacksonville and receiving several Cisco certifications, I joined RS&H at 22 years old in 2002 and haven't stopped learning since then.
I graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer science from University of North Florida, and I'm currently attending Colorado State to receive a Master of IT Management. RS&H is very supportive of continuing education. They understand that learning new skills is essential in IT to keep up with the rapidly changing technologies and ability to recognize new emerging technologies that we can directly apply in our industry to improve on project delivery for our clients. I try to go the extra mile to find and implement solutions to problems the department encounters, striving to make RS&H a more efficient place to work.
