James W. Golden Joins RS&H as a Senior Transportation Consultant

TALLAHASSEE, FLA. – Aug. 11, 2011 – RS&H, one of the nation’s leading facilities and infrastructure consulting firms whose client-centered program structure provides value-added solutions to clients around the world, has hired James W. Golden as a senior transportation consultant based in Tallahassee. Golden brings more than 39 years of experience employed by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) in a range of transportation-related initiatives, from individual planning and design projects to statewide transportation programs.

Golden previously served as the manager of the FDOT’s Transportation Statistics Office, where he was responsible for the development and management of traffic-related information used to make key planning and engineering decisions on transportation projects throughout the state. Prior to that, he also managed the development and maintenance of the Florida Intrastate Highway System while working under the FDOT’s Systems Planning Office, which monitors and maintains the state’s network of highways.
