RS&H WINS CONTRACT TO DESIGN U.S. 301 IMPROVEMENTS IN PASCO COUNTY

TAMPA, FLA. – Jan. 14, 2011 –  RS&H, one of the nation’s leading facilities and infrastructureconsulting firms whose client-centered program structure provides value-added solutions toclients around the world, has been awarded a contract from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Seven to design improvements to a 5.2-mile section of U.S. 301in Pasco County. The project, just north of Dade City, includes resurfacing the roadway,adding a sidewalk for a majority of the project’s length, and improving safety and drainage along the corridor. As part of the contract, RS&H will also conduct a multimodal study toevaluate any further needs to improve the pedestrian, bicycle and bus facilities along thecorridor. Design of the improvements is expected to be completed in 2012.
