In Florida Keys, RS&H Gives One-of-a-Kind Charity Golf Tournament a Swing

Across the country, non-profit organizations and charities host golf tournaments as fundraisers, inviting golfers from business communities of all sizes to play 18 holes for a good cause.

Such is the case for the Conch Scramble on Islamorada in the Florida Keys, but this golf tournament is like no other. Last month at the tournament, golf carts were replaced by boats, golf balls were made of compressed fish food, and every green was an island.

RS&H Build-Putt-Give Project Embodies Expressway

RS&H has been heavily involved with the First Coast Expressway in Northeast Florida, and the job is crossing over into other facets of office life.

Such is the case when RS&H Water Resources Associate Oliver Shahbazian and a team of coworkers got together to build a miniature golf hole for “Build-Putt-Give,” a charity food drive hosted by Jacksonville engineering firm Peters & Yaffee. The event challenges area engineering firms to build a mini-golf course using nonperishable food products and their imagination.
