RS&H was once again very involved in another outstanding Northeast Florida Chapter MATHCOUNTS competition on February 26, 2016, at the UNF University Center. Our competition grew again this year, hosting 57 local middle schools from Duval, St. Johns, Clay, and Nassau counties, with 430 students competing in the largest MATHCOUNTS competition in the country.
From community involvement to networking opportunities, we dedicated time to impact Texas communities and industries in 2014 and plan to do even more in 2015. Below is one of our favorite experiences.
RS&H has 80 associates in Texas (architects, engineers, planners, and environmental specialists) in five offices, including Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and Tyler. In this issue, we have chosen to highlight a few that specialize in environmental services, including Tyler’s new office leader.
Training & Development
The Training and Development program at RS&H aims to provide associates with continual opportunities to improve their professional skills and to become leaders in their respective fields. Last year in the Tyler office, our associates participated in OSHA safety training, obtained a number of TxDOT pre-certifications, attended a TxDOT environmental conference, completed project management boot camp, and joined a variety of professional organizations.
The RS&H Tyler, Texas, office associates’ New Year’s resolutions for 2014 focused on increasing personal and industry knowledge, while sharing their expertise with others in their community. To achieve their goals, they participated in a variety of activities and training.
