To accommodate expansion and growth of RS&H in the western United States, the company recently relocated its Denver, Colorado, office. To celebrate the new office, the company hosted an open house in October.
Guests came from Denver, as well as surrounding areas to enjoy food, drinks, and live music while exploring the office designed to bridge the correlation between design and employee activity.
With a focus on employee wellness, RS&H integrated an open office environment with natural light coming through large windows, providing wonderful views of the surrounding area and mountains.
In the new office, some employees have access to sit/stand collaborative workstations that allow them more movement and interaction. Architects also suggested collaborative, flexible furniture that allows for maximum productivity.
To encourage collaboration between associates in different disciplines, the company designed a creative center, which can be used for a variety of functions, promoting connectivity and knowledge sharing.
With the future in mind, RS&H sought an adaptable design and used architectural wall systems for reconfigurable offices. Some offices have glass partitions for transparency to allow daylight, visual connection, and high sound transmission class ratings.
The office does have a slight Denver theme, with hints of orange and blue for the Denver Broncos. Branded materials and finishes top off these features, creating visual stimulation.
The best attribute of the new office? Guest agreed it was the beautiful views of the mountains. With large windows around most of the office, you’re sure to catch a glimpse of the Rockies.
