RS&H has been recognized internationally for its comprehensive planning, design, construction surveillance, testing and activation support for the aerospace industry. RS&H has designed numerous launch pads, assembly facilities, launch control centers, satellite processing facilities, upper stage integration facilities, as well as supporting infrastructure and ground support equipment. During its 45-year partnership with NASA, this has included the SaturnV/Apollo program, Space Shuttle program, and now, the Exploration Initiative. RS&H’s portfolio also includes new private spaceports in Florida, Australia and the central US, and numerous military launch sites.
Our special expertise includes the design of propellant unloading, storage and piping systems for LO2, LH2, LN2, RP-1, H2O2, Hypergols and others; design of high pressure and low pressure gas systems, including step down stations; design of Environmental Control Systems for launch vehicles, upper stages and payloads; and design of umbilical disconnect and retraction systems.
