RS&H - Aerospace and Defense Program

RS&H started planning and designing military facilities for defense agencies in 1942. This support has continued over the years to include launch facilities, force protection, sustainable design, spaceports and energy management, all delivered through its three service groups: Aerospace, Defense and Energy. Currently, RS&H ranks in the top five percent nationwide in the government’s evaluation of architectural and engineering design firms.

Since 1960, the firm’s role has been expanded to include the conceptual definition, design, management, testing and checkout of aerospace launch support and other facilities for NASA and the Air Force, as well as spaceports, state space authorities and private, commercial launch providers.

RS&H has also been a pioneer in providing energy engineering services to the U.S. Army and other Department of Defense clients and has been instrumental in developing the energy program for the Defense Commissary Agency.

The combined depth and breadth of this experience enables RS&H to mobilize quickly on new projects; to maintain a tight control of costs and schedules; and to deliver engineering design and investigative studies of superior quality for launch pads, ground support equipment (GSE), aerospace ground equipment (AGE), cryogenic systems, Hypergol systems and other aerospace systems.
