![]() Project Description: RS&H designed the Saturn V mobile launchers, modifications to the mobile service structure, and a variety of other projects in support of the Saturn V/Apollo and Saturn IB Programs at Launch Complex 39. Design of Saturn V Mobile Launchers included development of complete design criteria; design, contract drawings, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates for three mobile launchers; and construction surveillance, modifications to Mobile Service Structure (MSS) Complex 39 design, contract drawings and technical specifications. Other projects include fluid distribution systems for spacecraft ground support equipment on Extensible Platforms A and B, Bays 1 and 3 Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB), as well as design and technical specifications for toxic propellants venting, Lunar Excursion Module air conditioning duct systems, GN2, and GHe 6,000 psig piping systems and electrical work. |
