![]() Project Description: The Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport retained RS&H as the lead designer to work with a CM At-Risk to complete a new $42-million airport passenger terminal. The design and construction process includes a multiphase, three and a half year effort. The first and second phases were both delivered early to utilize federal stimulus funds. Subsequent phases included further breakdowns into smaller packages to meet funding availability. The project has consistently tracked in double percentage digits under budget. The CM At-Risk delivery method and RS&H’s collaborative approach has given the project the flexibility needed to respond to funding availability, as well as stay well under the initial budget while still delivering the functions, features, and quality of the original concept. |
