Army Aviation Support Facility No. 1 Florida Army National Guard, Cecil Field, Jacksonville, Florida This 35,000-square-foot Humidity-Controlled Preservation Hangar will help the air guard protect their aircraft from the harsh Florida climate. The project included site planning to locate the new hangar, complete design of the hangar, ramp and taxiway expansion and three new out buildings and the renovation of over 20,000 square feet of space in the existing maintenance hangar including a new focused entry tower with elevator, new fire pumps and AFFF foam systems, refurbished hangar doors and updated support systems throughout. |

Air Force Technical Applications Center Patrick Air Force Base, Cocoa Beach, Florida The new headquarters facility includes 276,000 square feet of headquarters office space in four stories, the upper three stories of which are SCIF, a 45,000-square-foot laboratory and complete site layout and security planning. RS&H completed user interviews with all departments, conducted the planning charrette, developed a complete space planning document, a three dimensional BIM model, and a site plan all wrapped into a comprehensive Customer Criteria Document. |

Army Installation Management Command Headquarters Facilities Fort Sam Houston, Texas This series of projects included the conversion of three, 110,000-square-foot, 1930’s vintage buildings from barracks to Class A office space to accommodate 1500 military civilians being relocated from the Washington DC area to Fort Sam Houston. RS&H completed user interviews, space planning, interior re-design, anti-terrorism/force protection analysis, to include progressive collapse mitigation, 3D BIM modeling and a 3D virtual tour of the complex as part of the Design-Build Request for Proposal to bring this $85 Million project to fruition as part of BRAC 2005. |

AIT Battalion Complex Civil Site Design Fort Sam Houston, Texas This project included the full design of the site utilities and infrastructure for this 28-acre site on which two 1200-person dormitories, a headquarters building and central energy plant are being built. RS&H master planned the site, completed the full site design for utilities, roads, parking and one-half mile running track and then completed the Design-Build Request for Proposals to complete the final design and construction of the entire complex. The RS&H Team completed the planning charrettes using 3D BIM and also produced a 3D virtual tour video of the entire buildings and campus that included this $200 Million Battalion Complex. |
